Secondary School Examination (SSE)/10th standard pass certificate, with passing marks in Mathematics and English, from a Board recognized by the Government of India/State Governments/Union Territories. Must have studied the local language at least up to 10th standard.

The minimum age is 18 years and the maximum age is 40 years, to be determined as on the last date of submission of applications, subject to the following relaxations in the upper age limit.
